Help Keep Unpopular Front Independent

Dear Readers,

As you may know, Unpopular Front is a totally reader supported publication. Unlike many of the bigger names on here, I did not receive an upfront deal to come over to Substack. I’m very proud to say that I built up the readership solely with the help of enthusiastic readers like you, who have shared it with friends or on social media.

Once, I could count on organic growth through Twitter, but Elon Musk’s petty and vindictive war on Substack means that my links are given limited visibility on that platform. Most of my subscribers found the publication through Twitter — now that number has almost totally collapsed. And, although Unpopular Front has grown beyond my expectations, it is still relatively small and therefore not really promoted by the platform itself.
